The following is a list of skills available in The Elder Scrolls: Blades.

List of Skills[edit | edit source]

Each time you level up in The Elder Scrolls: Blades you are awarded 1 Skill Point. These can be invested in skills to enhance your gameplay.

There are three types of skills:

  • Spells - skills used in combat using Magika.
  • Perks - passive abilities affecting general gameplay.
  • Abilities - skills used in combat using Stamina.

Magica and Stamina are resource pools that are unlocked when the first Skill point is used (please confirm) in either Spells or Skills. Each level up allows the player to increase either one of the pools by ten (up from 100 each).

Spell Skills Cost What It Does
Fireball 1 A fiery projectile deals 114 fire damage on impact. If casting is interrupted, the fireball explodes on the caster, dealing 29 fire damage.

Magicka Cost: 135 Casting Time: 0.9 Secs Requires Level: 2

Absorb 1 A magical sigil appears instantly. It negates up to 31 damage directed at the caster and converts 100% of it into healing.

Magicka Cost: 185 Duration: 1.5 Secs Requires Level: 2

Frostbite 1 A stream of frigid air deals 31 frost damage per second to health and stamina while slowing enemies and increasing resistance to physical damage by 14. can be interrupted while casting.

Magicka Cost: 170 Maximum Duration: 5 Secs Requires Level: 3

Lighting Bolt 1 A surge of electrical energy grows in front of the caster, then shoots forward to deal 47 shock damage to health and magicka. Can be interrupted while casting.

Magicka Cost: 110 Casting Time: 0.7 Secs Requires Level: 5

Poison Cloud 1 A cloud of poison gas grows to engulf enemies, dealing 26 poison damage per second. can be interrupted while casting.

Resist Elements 2 Protective energies cure the vaster of elemental conditions and increase resistance to elemental damage by 39. Can be interrupted while casting.

Magicka Cost: 200 Casting Time: 0.7 Secs Duration: 10 Secs Requires Level: 10

Consuming Inferno 2 A continuous stream of flames deals 60 fire damage per second while draining the caster’s Stamina (Health if out of stamina). Can be interrupted while casting.

Magicka Cost: 160 Maximum Duration: 3 Secs Requires Level: 9

Ice Spike 3 A razor-sharp ice spike deals 145 frost damage to health and stamina on impact. Enemies that suffer more than 131 damage are stunned. Can be interrupted while casting.

Magicka Cost: 220 Casting Time: 1.12 Secs Requires Level: 13

Delayed Lighting Bolt 3 A ball of electricity shoots up, then strike as lighting 5 seconds later, dealing 67 shock damage to health and magicka. Can be interrupted while casting.

Blind 3 A ball of venom deals 138 poison damage on impact. Enemies that suffer more than 123 damage are temporarily blinded. Can be interrupted while casting.

Magicka Cost: 140 Casting Time: 1.6 Secs Duration: 5 Secs Requires Level: 14

Ward 4 A magical barrier increases Armor Rating by 68 and negates up to 203 elemental damage. Can be interrupted while casting.

Wall of Fire 4 A wall of fire appears instantly. It deals 70 fire damage to anyone attacking through it, including the caster.

Magicka Cost: 210 Duration: 5 Secs Requires Level: 19

Blizzard Armor 5 A layer of ice with 97 health instantly cover the caster. It takes half of all damage directed at the caster, and deals 4 frost damage per second to health and stamina.

Magicka Cost: 290 Duration: Until Broken Requires Level: 23

Thunderstorm 5 A storm cloud appears instantly above the target. every 3 seconds, it emits a lightning bolt that deals 72 shock damage to health and magicka.

Magicka Cost: 190 Duration: 9 Secs Requires Level: 25

Paralyze 5 A ball of venom deals 202 poison damage on impact. Enemies that suffer more than 182 damage are temporarily paralyzed. Can be interrupted while casting.

Magicka Cost: 185 Casting Time: 1.75 Secs Duration: 3 Secs Requires Level: 24

Echo Weapon 10 A magical echo of the caster’s weapon appears instantly, duplicating all of its attacks with a 0.5 second delay. Light, versatile and heavy echoes deal 96, 109, and 123 damage, respectively.

Magicka Cost: 425 Duration: 8 Secs Requires Level: 35

Magicka Surge 10 Instantly increase magicka regeneration by 82 per second, speed up spell cooldowns, and prevents spell interruptions. After the surge, magicka falls to 0 and magicka regeneration stops for 10 seconds.

Load Bearer 2 Increases inventory size by 10.

Combat Focus 2 +7 Resistance to all damage while using an ability.

Willpower 2 Recover up to 50 points of the magicka spent on an interrupted spell.

Advanced Tempering 2 Increases the smithy’s maximum tempering level by 2, up to level 6.

Requires Level: 10

Matching Set 3 +58 Armor Rating while wearing a matched set of armor (armor, helmet, gauntlets, and boots).

Augmented Poison 3 Increases Poison damage by 9.

Requires Level: 15

Augmented Frost 4 Increases frost damage by 8.

Requires Level: 16

Enchantment Synergy 6 Stacked enchantments are 5% more effective.

Requires Level: 27

Healing Surge 5 Increases health regeneration while stamina is high, by up to 9 per second.

Requires Level: 23

Augmented Shock 5 Increases shock damage by 11.

Requires Level: 24

Mettle 10 Abilities are 10% more effective while health is critical.

Requires Level: 35

Maximum Power 10 Spells are 10% more effective when cast while magicka is full.

Dodging Strike 1 The fighter instantly dodges to evade up to 85 damage, then strikes back.

Stamina Cost: 135 Requires Level: 2

Power Attack 1 A slow but powerful overhead blow deals 30 extra damage (60 with a two-handed weapon).

Stamina Cost: 145 Requires Level: 2

Quick Strikes 1 A quick combo of two strikes that each deal 20 extra damage (no extra damage for two-handed weapons).

Stamina Cost: 205 Requires Level: 4

Shield Bash 1 The fighter first blocks with their shield, then slams it into the enemy, dealing 36 extra bashing damage. A shield is required.

Adrenaline Dodge 2 This dodging strike evades up to 76 damage and restores up to 97 health. The closer the fighter is to getting hit, the greater the healing.

Stamina Cost: 180 Requires Level: 10

Skullcrusher 2 This power attack deals 33 extra damage (65 with a two handed weapon), and ignores both 79 points of target’s block rating and 147 points of their armor rating.

Stamina Cost: 175 Requires Level: 9

Piercing Strike 3 These Quick Strikes each deal 21 extra damage (no extra damage for two-handed weapon), and any elemental damage done with them ignores 80 points of the target’s Block Rating and 11 points of resistance.

Harrying Bash 3 This Shield Bash deals 29 extra bashing damage and adds 4 seconds to all of the target’s skill cooldowns. A shield is required.

Stamina Cost: 190 Requires Level: 11

Focusing Dodge 4 This dodging Strike evades up to 91 damage and reduces skill cooldowns by up to 6 seconds. The closer the fighter is to getting hit, the greater the reduction.

Guardbreaker 4 This power attack deals 39 extra damage (77 with a two-handed weapon) and stuns a target that blocks it.

Stamina Cost: 215 Requires Level: 16

Venom Strikes 4 These Quick Strikes each deal 27 extra damage (no extra damage for two-handed weapons), and poisons delivered with them are 10% more effective.

Stamina Cost: 320 Requires Level: 18

Staggering Bash 4 this shield Bash deals 45 extra bashing damage and stuns a target that does not block it. A shield is required.

Stamina Cost: 235 Requires Level: 18

Renewing Dodge 5 This dodging strike evades up to 84 damage and restores up to 338 magicka. The closer the fighter is to getting hit, the greater the restoration.

Stamina Cost: 205 Requires Level: 24

Indomitable Smash 5 During this power attack, all resistance are increased by 125. It also cures all of the fighter’s conditions, but deals no extra damage.

Stamina Cost: 265 Requires Level: 23

Recovery Strikes 5 These quick strikes can be performed at any time, except when Paralyzed. They each deal 28 extra damage ( no extra damage for two-handed weapons).

Stamina Cost: 375 Requires Level: 25

Reflecting Bash 5 Up to 33 points of any damage received during this shield bash are redirected at the target. A shield is required.

Stamina Cost: 290 Requires Level: 25

Reckless Fury 10 An intense rage increases the fighter’s damage and protects them from being stunned or killed, but also stops them from blocking or using skills. Light, versatile and heavy weapons deal 13, 17, and 21 extra damage, respectively.
